Parade is held to honor the World Series champion Boston Red Sox.

October 30, 2004

More than three million people – reputedly the largest crowd in Boston history – watch members of the team ride through the city in amphibious “duck boats.” The parade route proceeds from Fenway Park, down Boylston Street to Tremont Street and Cambridge Street, and then along the Charles River to Kenmore Square before returning to Fenway Park.
